Wakau is videos blog app (also available WAP service) where viewers can watch video blogs of celebrities exclusively created by the celebrities themselves for their fans and followers, and is available on mobile devices (all major feature and smartphones). It is available in both forms, free (with Advertisements) and subscription (without advertisements). You can view unlimited videos of your favorite Bollywood and regional celebrities/ sports personalities etc. Search for your favorite celebrity's videos today on Wakau or you can request us for getting your favorite celebrities on Wakau.
Wakau App is now available on Play store/iOS. It is also available through major telecom operators. For Wakau App just type ‘Wakau’ in your app store to search and for WAP service just type the URL - http://wakau.in in your mobile browser and you will be able to access India’s first celebrity video blogging service.
If you are using mobile data pack, then download charges will be applicable based on the data pack, or if you are using a Wi-Fi connection to download the app, charges will be applicable through your Wi-Fi plan.
You can watch videos, like, comment, share the link on your social media (Facebook, Twitter, whatsapp, google plus). You can write to us if your favorite celebrity is not on Wakau, we will try our best to get them here especially for you.
You will not be able to download videos, you can only stream them and share the links.
There is no limit on number of times you can stream a video. You will be charged by your service provider for data consumption as per data consumption plan active on your mobile.
If you wish to enjoy ad-free Wakau, you can subscribe. Subscription rates will be mentioned on the App and /or if you are accessing through WAP you will need to check with your service provider. Subscription is available on monthly, weekly and daily basis. Subscription rates may keep on changing and hence not mentioned here.
Yes, if you are a first time visitor; a free video preview of 10 seconds is available. After that you need to subscribe to the service to enjoy the full video experience. On subscription, you will be able to watch unlimited videos as per your subscription plan.
Yes, video streaming will be chargeable. Streaming is chargeable as per your mobile data plan applicable through your Telecom operator.
You can pay subscription through your pre-paid or post-paid plans, if you are accessing Wakau on WAP. If you are accessing Wakau through App, you can pay through online payment options such as Payumoney, Google Wallet, credit cards/debit cards/net banking. Also if you are outside India subscriber, now you can subscribe through ATOM payment solutions.
You can cancel the subscription by way of unsubscribing any time, however once you unsubscribe, you will not be able to enjoy subscribed version unless you subscribe again and pay subscription fees. In case you are subscribing through WAP, refund and cancellation policy of your telecom operator shall apply. There will not be refund of subscription in any case.
Only in case, you pay subscription for Wakau App and transaction is shown unsuccessful and you re-transact, where your account is debited twice for the same transaction, please contact our customer care at contact@wakau.in, we will look into the request for processing refund if valid and eligible.
Subscriptions are valid as per the pack that you have subscribed to. Pack validity is daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly or quarterly or yearly, as you may have chosen. You will be able to access services immediately after payment of subscription.
Your monthly subscription is auto renewed by default, once activated. You can deactivate the subscription at any time by sending SMS to your Telco short-code. In case you are using Wakau App, you need to unsubscribe manually.
Grace period is considered as a period wherein a subscriber is due for renewal but due to insufficient funds it is pending. A user is generally in grace period for duration of 7 days. Grace periods are pre-defined by your Telecom Operator. During the grace period, if the user recharges his/her mobile, he will be charged for the original subscription pack that he had subscribed to. In case of insufficient balance, it will take the next fallback price point available. During the grace period, user will be able to use the services.
Wakau WAP portal subscriber will only be retried for charging while he/she is in grace period. He can still watch videos during grace period. But once user moves from Grace to Suspension, if he visits the WAP Portal again, he will get a pop up on the screen, "Please recharge your mobile wallet for renewing Wakau subscription, and continue to Wakau your Celebs."
For Wakau App subscriber, once the user moves into Grace Bucket, every time that he comes onto the App, he will get a continuous ticker on top saying, "Please recharge your mobile wallet to keep enjoying Wakau". Once he moves from Grace to Suspension, he will get a pop up on the App screen, "Please recharge your mobile wallet for renewing Wakau subscription, and continue to Wakau your Celebs."
After grace period users migrate in to Suspension period wherein the users can revive the services by recharging their prepaid account. During the suspension period, user won't be able to access the services. Once user recharges his/her prepaid account, subscription will be renewed. Post which user can again starts accessing the Wakau WAP portal or Wakau App.
Search option is available in the top right corner of the Wakau WAP portal as well on the Wakau Android App. Just type in the keyword, name of the artist or category that you are searching for, and you will find your favorite stars videos on Wakau.

Wakau WAP Portal and App are currently accessible in English. Celebrity videos are recorded in Hindi, English or their regional/native languages. The same are available on Wakau WAP site in that language.
In addition to Hindi and English videos by celebrities, we have regional celebrities videos recorded in their native languages, and as we keep on boarding new celebrities/regional star in their regional/Hindi language, they will keep getting added on to the portal.

If you are a registered user of our Services, Wakau provides you with tools and account settings to access or modify the profile information you provided to us and associated with your account. You can also permanently delete your Wakau account by contacting us.
We reserve the right at any time to: change the terms of this Agreement, Policy; change the services, including eliminating or modifying any Content on or feature of the website and/or the mobile app; or change/charge any fees or charges for use of the services. Any changes we make will be effective immediately on notice, which we may give either by posting the new Agreement on Wakau or via electronic mail. Your use of the services after such notice will be deemed acceptance of such changes. Be sure to review this Agreement periodically to ensure your familiarity with the most current version. Your access to and use of the Services is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. By accessing or using the Services you agree to be bound by these 1) Terms of Services and 2) Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to any of these terms, or Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service.
Although we may attempt to notify you when major changes are made to these Terms of Service, you should periodically review the most up-to-date version on the website of Wakau. Wakau, in its sole discretion, modify or revise these Terms of Service and policies at any time, and you agree to be bound by such modifications or revisions. By using the Service, you expressly relieve Wakau from any and all liability arising from your use of any third-party website. Accordingly, we encourage you to be aware when you leave the Service and to read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of each other website that you visit.
c. In order to access some features of the Service, you will have to create a Wakau Account. You may never use another's account without permission. When creating your account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You must notify Wakau immediately of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
d. Although Wakau will not be liable for your losses caused by any unauthorized use of your account, you may be liable for the losses of Wakau or others due to such unauthorized use.
